Surprisingly Charming Stay
helpful staff fresh towels
the staff was helpful, especially with directions. the room included fresh towels and soap (i always appreciate that!). i slept well and found the beds to be comfortable.
the television remote did not work in my room. i could not change channels or adjust the volume.

basic stay with some issues
moldy smell missing amenities
The room i booked smelled strongly of mold. It permeated all my belongings. i also had no warm water for two days despite the staff's attempts to fix it. the room lacked basic amenities such as bedside lights and a chair for the desk.

Surprised by the Service, Charmed by the Stay
pleasant person evening karaoke good location
Adam was really good at the front desk. He was a very pleasant person. Evening karaoke starts at 8:30. That was good entertainment for the kids. The location is good. I appreciated how close it was to attractions.
The hotel are not the cleanest I have seen.

The staff went out of their way. That was something I noticed. They were always available to assist with any request. The host, Gavin, were especially great at making everyone feel welcome.

My room, the Quadruple Room Shower, had plenty space. The owner were very friendly. Made the atmosphere cosy. The rooms are nice and warm. The kids loved it, and the shower had good pressure.

The location is convenient for winter gardens access. The host is great and warm. The place is basic, but I found it a warm option. The cleanliness was acceptable.

surprisingly good stay
helpful staff good condition cute entrance suitable location
the staff was very helpful, especially at the bar area. i used the pool table and it was in good condition for a game or two. the front entrance seemed cute, and it was nice to sit there and chat with other guests. i found the location very suitable for accessing nearby shops.
the bathroom lacked complimentary items like shampoo, which i found unusual.

the staff were indeed lovely and always very helpful. there is a 24 hour bar open (that was a nice bonus). beds were clean and super comfortable.
i did not get my room key deposit back after i checked out. i contacted the owner but got no reply at all. this was disappointing.

The room was a quadruple room shower. The beds are comfortable. The location allows easy access to nearby shops. I did appreciate the helpful staff. They found a charger I had forgotten.
